Location: South Texas and Louisiana

Position Summary:
Central Tube and Bar is seeking a dynamic and driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team and lead business development efforts across South Texas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, outstanding relationship-building skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is pivotal in driving growth, expanding our customer base, and maintaining strong partnerships in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, buyers, and influencers in the industry.

  • Actively seek out and engage with prospective clients to present Central Tube and Bar's product offerings.

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions.

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals.

  • Conduct regular market research to stay informed about competitors, pricing, and trends in the steel and tubing industry.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.

  • Travel extensively within the South Texas region and Louisiana.

  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face visits, calls, and follow-ups to drive engagement and close sales.

  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing updates to management.

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and sales activities in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in steel, tubing, or industrial sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of the South Texas market and its key players.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

  • Background in metal fabrication, industrial sales, or manufacturing is a plus.

  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Proven negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
