Position Summary:
Central Tube and Bar is seeking a dynamic and driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team and lead business development efforts across South Texas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, outstanding relationship-building skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role is pivotal in driving growth, expanding our customer base, and maintaining strong partnerships in the region.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, buyers, and influencers in the industry.
Actively seek out and engage with prospective clients to present Central Tube and Bar's product offerings.
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions.
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals.
Conduct regular market research to stay informed about competitors, pricing, and trends in the steel and tubing industry.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Travel extensively within the South Texas region and Louisiana.
Schedule and conduct face-to-face visits, calls, and follow-ups to drive engagement and close sales.
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing updates to management.
Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and sales activities in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in steel, tubing, or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of the South Texas market and its key players.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Background in metal fabrication, industrial sales, or manufacturing is a plus.
Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Proven negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
