Facilities Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities management, ensuring that all systems function efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to facility maintenance, with a focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Duties

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of facility maintenance, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, and general building upkeep.
• Fabricate and repair equipment as needed to ensure optimal functionality.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize voltmeters and other tools to troubleshoot electrical problems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Interpret schematics for both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems to facilitate repairs and installations.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of facility equipment.
• Collaborate with external vendors for specialized services while managing contracts and service agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
• Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with using voltmeters and interpreting schematics for electrical systems.
• Experience in low voltage and high voltage electrical work is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and external vendors.
• Relevant certifications in facilities management or related technical fields are a plus.

Pay: $57,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
