What are the responsibilities and job description for the C-Store Assistant Manager- Hampton, NE position at Central Valley Ag Cooperative?
PURPOSE
As a C-Store Assistant Manager at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day store operations, including scheduling, training and supervising employees. The C-Store Assistant Manager is responsible for store profits and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, cash and inventory shortages when the C-Store Manager is absent.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in recruiting and training positive individuals to become members of the Central Valley Ag team, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Motivate, encourage and challenge store cashiers.
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized and well kept.
- Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly and displayed in a safe manner.
- Supervises and disciplines all store employees under the tutelage of the C-StoreManager and according to company policy.
- Completes daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manager as established by management.
- Monitors cash overages, shortages, inventory shrinkage and drive offs daily.
- Conducts store meetings as needed with employees.
- Enforce all safety and security issues and report any unsafe conditions.
- Report and process all employee and/or customer incidents or accidents following company procedures.
- Plans, assigns and directs work of subordinates.
- Disciplines employees, addresses complaints and resolves employee problems in conjunction with the C-Store Manager and division head.
- Other duties as assigned.
