PURPOSE
Central Valley Ag is seeking a creative and motivated Content Coordinator to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for developing, curating, and publishing engaging multimedia content that aligns with CVA’s mission, values and marketing goals. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with experience in creating high-quality content for various platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns and print materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create compelling written, visual and video content for CVA’s digital and print channels.
- Partner with internal teams and divisions to gather content ideas and highlight key stories.
- Collaborate with team members to develop content calendars that align with CVA’s campaigns, events and strategic imperatives.
- Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photos, and/or videos of CVA’s events, employees, products and operations for use across platforms.
- Ensure all content aligns with CVA’s brand voice, style and messaging. Work closely with the marketing team to uphold and maintain the company’s visual and written identity.
- Write copy for email campaigns.
- Support the marketing team in brainstorming and executing creative campaigns.
- Coordinates, plans and assists in the management of company events.
- Partners with data analytics experts to identify content and communication gaps with customers and design new content experiences.
- Identify smart ways to adapt existing marketing, product or PR campaigns into compelling content.
- Manage marketing projects and tasks as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None.
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Degree in marketing, communications, advertising or public relations preferred, or two years’ experience in similar role.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, InDesign), Canva, or similar platforms.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Initiative to consistently meet internal and external deadlines.
- Creativity and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to use or learn to use Nikon DSLR Cameras for photography and videography.
- Agriculture background preferred, but not necessary.
