What are the responsibilities and job description for the Petroleum Service Technician- York, NE position at Central Valley Ag Cooperative?

PURPOSE

As a Petroleum Service Technician at Central Valley Ag, you will be responsible for servicing, installing, and repairing propane related accessories and fixtures in a timely and safe manner, for commercial, residential, and agricultural customers. You will also provide safe, courteous, and efficient transportation solutions for the delivery of petroleum products and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides customer service in a timely and accurate manner to increase customer satisfaction, maintain the reputation of the company, and the profitability of the division.
Engage in delivery of propane to customers.
Installation of propane tanks and lines.
Attend regular safety and industry training.
Preforms all applicable safety and leak detection tests to propane systems as required.
Ensures accurate billing of products and services.
Ensures efficient delivery of propane within the trade territory according to customer and company requirements.
Maintains logs of working hours or of vehicle service and repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
Obtains and maintains certification in the delivery of propane
Respond to customer emergencies.
Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory roles with the position

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

High School or GED diploma.

Hazardous and tanker endorsements preferred.

CTEP experience or training preferred.

Knowledge of DOT or DOT experience preferred.

Valid Class B CDL with HAZMAT preferred.

Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.

Good mechanical skills.

Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority. Promotes a work environment that is safe for everyone.
