We’re looking for a Human Resources Business Partner who is curious, thoughtful, and focused on supporting employees and managers. In this role, you’ll provide reliable HR support across various areas including operations, employee relations, benefits, and compliance.
You’ll be detail-oriented, a clear communicator, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Handling sensitive matters with discretion and maintaining smooth operations will be key to your success. We also value someone who is comfortable with technology and open to using new tools to improve HR processes.
This role requires a willingness to drive to multiple locations as needed to support employees and leadership teams across our organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Business Partnering:
- Work with managers to support day-to-day HR needs, including answering employee questions and assisting with HR programs.
- Provide basic coaching and guidance on performance issues, employee development, and team dynamics.
- Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives that support engagement and growth.
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
- Manage key HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee data changes.
- Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies, programs, and procedures.
- Maintain HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with performance review cycles and support talent development initiatives.
- Attend and assist with employee relations discussions, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Benefits Administration:
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefits and assist during open enrollment.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with basic federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Assist with tracking training and certifications.
- Help manage I-9 compliance and assist with audits as needed.
Payroll Support:
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately with attention to detail.
- Help answer employee payroll questions and support payroll accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
Projects & Administration:
- Assist with leave of absence administration and support the drug screening process.
- Help plan and coordinate company events, recognition programs, and HR communications.
- Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement.
Recruitment & Hiring Support:
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment when needed, including posting jobs, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Support managers with the onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of HR experience with a solid foundation in generalist duties and business partnering
- Basic knowledge of HR laws, best practices, and employment regulations
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, with a willingness to learn new tools
- Drive to multiple locations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
- Comfortable handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
