Job Title: Installer – Showers/Windows

Position Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

The Installer – Showers/Windows primary role involves measuring and installing shower doors and enclosures. Secondary responsibilities include installing windows, patio doors and insulated units, as well as measuring, and installing glass. The ideal candidate has a background in construction, carpentry, or related trades, with strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. Physical strength and manual dexterity are essential, with the ability to interpret blueprints preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install shower doors and enclosures
• Accurately confirm and verify field opening measurements prior to installation.
• Install windows and insulated units
• Install glass in windows, skylights, display cases, mirrors, and other surfaces
• Remove old glass before installing new glass
• Secure glass panes and mirrors into frames using clips, moldings, or fasteners
• Handle different types of glass, including laminated, wired, frosted, and colored
• Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience installing shower doors and enclosures (required)
• Familiarity with construction site safety regulations (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision in all work
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and install heavy glass panels

Experience:

• Previous experience installing shower doors (Required)
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Construction: 1 year
• Glass Installation: 1 year

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
