POSITION: Critical Home Repair Supervisor (CSPDC)
REPORTS TO: Executive Director, Critical Home Repair Coordinator
Employee Status: Full Time, non-exempt
Compensation: $38,000 to $48,000 annual salary depending upon experience.
Position Summary: The Critical Home Repair Supervisor must possess excellent interpersonal skills and a thorough, demonstrated knowledge of affordable residential construction including knowledge of building materials, and understanding of subcontractor work and requirements, job safety requirements, construction management and organizational skills. This position will work with families who own their home but need assistance completing repairs. This individual will facilitate the repair process using personal construction skills, leading volunteers, and directing trade workers.

Qualifications:
- HS diploma or equivalent required, with significant residential construction experience.
- Contracting experience that bridges the gap between assessing job needs and drafting contracts for job work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer technology comfort level with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, construction software preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Passion for Habitat for Humanity’s mission and values.
Competencies:
· Procurement/Bidding processes for small home repairs including roofing and HVAC. Preference paid to experience with Federal contracting requirements.
· Needs assessment for homeowners that can be translated to home repair subcontracting.
· Technological comfort with learning and operating new software for tracking contracting processes.
· Comfort with processing applications, following processes and tracking repair projects from start to completion.
· Solid knowledge of residential construction, personnel supervision, and supplier and program management, including supervisory experience with trade contractors.
· Ability to complete medium to large scale home repairs such as decking, bathroom remodels and electrical projects.
· Ability to interact with trade workers as they work on projects such as roof replacement and HVAC replacement.
· Ability to lead and teach volunteers on projects.
· Knowledge of site safety requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in both construction site and office environments.
- Ability to maneuver typical construction site obstacles.
- Ability to climb, jump, lift, reach, carry minimum of 50 pounds, as required.
Employment Eligibility:
Is contingent on passing a background check, sex offender registry check, and may require fingerprinting. Employment is also contingent on the ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States within three days of hire.
