Responsibilities
- Interview clinic patients and record patient’s medical history
- Measure patients’ height, weight, vital signs, including blood pressure
- Assist physician with patient examination and in-office procedures
- Give patients injections or medications as directed by the physician
- Collect and prepare patient specimens for laboratory tests
- Enter patient information
- Maintain inventory of medical and office supplies
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduation from accredited School of Medical Technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a demanding environment
- Ability to prioritize, use good judgement and remain calm during moments of crisis.
- Exhibit clear attention to detail and anticipate the needs of physicians.
