Responsibilities
- Perform crucial duties in providing outstanding customer care to patients obtaining prescription medication as prescribed by physician
- Accurately and proficiently verifies prescription information and fills orders as prescribed
- Ensures proper dosage
- Enters patient information accurately and completely into the pharmacy information system
- Process and submit insurance claim information
- Receives, records and stores incoming supplies while verifying quantities against invoice
- Keep Pharmacist apprised of stock needs and shortages
Requirements
- Graduation from accredited Pharmacy Technician Program
- Exceptional customer service and computer skills
- Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to listen, follow instructions and remain flexible in a demanding environment
