Starting Pay: $86,196.96– $102,923.68/Annually.
POSITION OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for the coordination, facilitation, and quality management of behavior services for regional center individuals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinates projects and processes related to behavior services, autism services, quality assurance/oversight, and new legislation and regulation.
- Participates in the development, implementation, and follow through of agency annual goals and objectives for services needed by individuals with developmental disabilities, including ASD.
- Coordinates and monitors the work of consulting BCBA staff.
- Collaborates in monitoring the quality of services of vendors who provide behavior services consultation.
- Provides consultation to case management, clinical personnel and other CVRC staff and community professionals regarding consumers with behavioral challenges. Acts as a resource for counselors to identify program and service options.
- Reviews requests for vendorization, recommends revisions, conducts vendor interviews, and consults with resource development regarding rates and reimbursement categories.
- Coordinates quality assurance/oversight review process for individual behavior services.
- Facilitates coordination between insurance companies, school districts, vendors and CVRC in the provision of specialized behavioral intervention programs.
- Conduct monthly in-person visits to specialized homes, ensuring required announced and unannounced visits are completed for the year.
- Completes clinical quality assurance/oversight and clinical monitoring activities of services provided in specialized residential homes.
- Evaluates implementation of residents' individual behavior support plans by conducting clinical review of the Functional Behavior Assessment, and Individual Behavior Supports Plan, treatment fidelity data, and data collection.
- Collaborates as part of interdisciplinary team for those in specialized settings to discuss behavior supports plans, debrief activities, and continuity of care.
- Coordinates Parent Group Behavior Training.
- Organizes efforts to reach diverse populations with screening and services.
- Participates in local and statewide autism collaborative activities.
- Identifies, coordinates, and provides information regarding community resources.
- Supports effective and efficient business practice.
- Maintains positive business relationships, confidentiality, good attendance, punctuality, and acts in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, public health or a related human services field, plus two years’ experience in the developmental disabilities field.
- Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Knowledge of early childhood growth and development as well as the ability to quickly assimilate current research and philosophy regarding autism diagnosis, intervention, and resources.
- Ability to use a personal computer and software in order to access individual’s information systems, e-mail and perform other required computerized functions.
- Must demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, sound independent judgment, flexibility, strong interpersonal, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must have a valid CA driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of generic public resources and developmental disabilities desirable.
- Bilingual skills desirable.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Must have the ability to travel within CVRC’s six-county-wide region as assigned or required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Professional office environment. Noise level in the office is low to moderate depending on area. Individual workspace is assigned and varies from open cubicle to private office.
