What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer/ move helper position at Central Van & Storage?
Job description
· As a professional mover, you and your team will work together to provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack the customers' household belongings.
· Items to be moved can often weigh several hundred pounds. Moves involving stairways are very common.
· Working with moving equipment and tools.
· Disassembling and reassembling furniture and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Must be willing to travel (local, intrastate and/or interstate)
· Able to work in a team environment.
· Ability to be on time and reliable.
· Prefer: Valid Driver's license
· Required: Ability to meet background standards
· Pass a pre-employment and regular drug screens
Compensation will be adjusted to reflect prior moving experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
