Job Description
Central Virginia Community College is located in Lynchburg, Virginia, in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. CVCC is a comprehensive two-year institution of higher education with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students in occupational / technical programs and university-parallel / college transfer programs.
Central Virginia Community College is seeking qualified individuals to serve as adjunct faculty in the Professional and Career Studies Division, teaching Professional or Technical courses in Applied Science or Non-Associate Degree Occupational Fields. The Professional and Career Studies Division includes :

Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching courses in a classroom, laboratory, and online environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.

Special Assignments
