Job Overview
Central Washington Management Group is now accepting applications (seasonal) for one of our managed properties, Crescent Bar Recreation Area. Grounds Maintenance are responsible for a variety of tasks associated with maintaining the landscape on the parks and recreation area. Job duties include but are not limited to the following.
- Daily maintenance around the campground, marina, parks, office, and parking lots, as assigned by their supervisor.
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns in parks, sidewalks, islands, and median strips, using appropriate equipment.
- Pull weeds, prune shrubs and trees, maintain mulch areas, and perform other related duties.
- As directed, apply fertilizers, insecticides, and other chemicals to turf areas, trees, and shrubs.
- Removal of trash and debris.
- Assist in maintaining the Park irrigation systems.
- Communicate any concerns to your supervisor in a timely fashion.
- Act in support of all Park Operations that includes maintaining a quality, safe and attractive park.
- Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to employee.

- Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walk.

- Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb and balance.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Frequently works with mechanical tools and machines.
- Works outside in all weather conditions.

All potential candidates must have a valid driver’s license, are able to follow verbal and written instruction, are willing to perform manual labor outside in all conditions and want to work as a part of a team. This position offers a flexible schedule and is seasonal, anticipated to end in late September or October.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
