Description
Position Summary The Gear Up Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for developing and teaching academic and college readiness curriculum reflective of project goals and objectives.
Examples of Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and teach GEAR UP WY project curriculum for students in academic success, financial aid awareness, and college readiness, with a focus on student requirements for the WY Hathaway and other scholarships.
- Prepare curriculum materials to distribute to Academic Coaches and train coaches for school site activities.
- Develop and deliver parent workshops on GEAR UP WY college readiness, including financial aid awareness.
- Organize off-campus overnight GEAR UP WY trips, supervise minor students, and teach college readiness activities while on the trip.
- Plan and oversee campus visits to local and other colleges / universities.
- Build and strengthen GEAR UP WY relationships with participating school districts in Fremont County.
- Recruit and onboard new student participants.
- Assist grant manager in training project staff with regard to project guidelines, goals, and objectives.
- Maintain confidential and audit ready GEAR UP WY records using grant database.
- Assist grant manager with GEAR UP WY periodic and annual reports.
- Operate within the framework established by CWC's policies, procedures, and practices.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as directed or assigned.
