- Conduct registration of all new students to the District and process enrollment for Kindergarten Registration (annually).
- Collect and verify required enrollment documents, including proof of residency, birth certificates, immunization records, and other relevant documentation.
- Verify residency in the Central York School District and specific school boundaries.
- Refer unresolved issues of residency to the appropriate administrator, as directed.
- Communicate with parents/guardians, building secretaries, and district personnel, providing information and assistance regarding registration and enrollment procedures.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Input, maintain, and update student enrollment records in the student information system (SIS), ensuring data accuracy and compliance with district policies.
- Collaborate with the PIMS Administrator/Data Base Manager to ensure accurate entry and maintenance of student enrollment records in the student information system (SIS).
- Maintain accurate and organized records related to the student registration and enrollment process.
- Ensure compliance with student privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Collaborate with school administration, building secretaries, guidance counselors, and other district personnel to facilitate a smooth transition of students into the educational system.
- Collaborate with the Director of Communications to maintain the registration portal on the District website.
- Serve as the first point of contact for volunteer applications.
- Review volunteer application, including background check paperwork, for completion and compliance, under the guidance of Human Resources.
- Maintain volunteer database and print/distribute volunteer badges.
- Process District facility rental requests in the facilities management platform (FMX).
- Confirm rental approvals or denials with respective applicants.
- Maintain master rental calendar in the facilities management platform (FMX).
- Communicate verification of approved rental to the appropriate building following CYSD School Board approval.
- Provide coverage for front desk receptionist as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous administrative support experience preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Excellent computer skills, preferably with Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel), database, email, and Internet applications
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Must have current PA Criminal, PA Child Abuse and FBI Criminal History Background Checks
