Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s Degree and valid Missouri Teaching Certificate with proper certifications.
Preferred: 1 or fewer years of relevant work experience, preferably in educational settings.
FLSA: Exempt
Salary Schedule: Per Approved Teacher Salary Schedule
Direct Report: Building Principal
Terms of Employment: 9 month
Eligible for emergency telework: Yes
Purpose: Assists students with becoming job ready in multiple manual skilled labor fields.
Essential Job Functions:
- Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
- To "telework" when requested by the District.
- Serve as an instructor for students enrolled in industrial technology courses.
- Act as a coordinator by developing and maintaining industrial technology curriculum, ensuring all plans are properly executed on a district-wide scale.
- Sponsor a Technology Students Association Chapter and take part in TEAM (Technology Educators Association of Missouri).
- Order supplies needed to maintain shop inventory.
- Other assigned duties.
