What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: You should have graduated from an accredited community college, junior college, or vocational nursing program, and hold a current Certificate in Nursing.
- Certification: Maintain up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. Please note that web-based classes are not accepted.
- Experience: We’re seeking candidates with at least one year of experience as an LPN within the last two years.
- Licensure: A current, valid, and unrestricted LPN license is required. Your license should remain current and valid throughout your time with us.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver compassionate and comprehensive care to a variety of patients. Use your judgment to determine the appropriate procedures and treatments, and accurately document patient information.
- Medication and Treatment Administration: Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Emergency Response: Recognize and respond to urgent or emergent patient care situations, coordinating with RNs or MDs as necessary.
- Support and Collaboration: Assist with complex diagnostic tests and procedures, orient new team members, and integrate healthy work environment principles to enhance patient care and employee satisfaction.
- Communication: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills for patient education, telephone triage, and documentation. Coordinate patient care and referrals with professionalism and accuracy.
