Position: Debugging Engineer
Location: Milpitas, CA
Duration: Fulltime Permanent
Day 1 Onsite
Years of exp Required: 7-10 Years
Technical/Functional Skills:
- You will develop the next generation of routers from concept to design, implementation, validation, and release to manufacturing.
- Hardware design, schematics generation, and design validation
- Support design functional validation from cross-functional teams.
- Working with the supply chain team to release the product to CM
- Working with extended teams to resolve hardware issues
- 7 years of related experience or master s in electrical or computer engineering with 5 years of related experience
- Experience with High-Speed Network Interfaces (10G/25G/100G)
- Previous hands-on board design expertise and familiarity with board design tools such as Cadence Allegro or similar tools.
Experience Required:
- Experience with high-speed SERDES (>=25G) system design, signal integrity issues, and power distribution techniques
- Ability to collaborate with eCAD, FPGA, Power, Mechanical, Signal integrity, and Manufacturing teams. Familiarity with leading-edge CPUs such as Intel or AMD
- Familiarity with networking components such as PCIe switches, PHY, retimers
