What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adobe Experience Platform Operations Engineer position at Centraprise?
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Adobe Experience Platform (AEP): Deep understanding of Data Ingestion, Profile Management, Audiences, Identities, Privacy, Schemas, Datasets, Queries, and AEP Administration (Alerts, Sandboxes, Permissions).
- ITSM Tools & Processes: Hands-on expertise with Assyst, JIRA (or similar ticketing systems), and best practices for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Monitoring & Alerting Tools: Experience creating and managing operational dashboards; familiarity with real-time data pipelines and offline batch processes.
- SDLC & DevOps: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, version control, testing frameworks, and release management in an enterprise context.
- Compliance & Security: Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and corporate governance practices; ability to implement data retention and privacy controls in AEP.
- Certifications: Adobe Experience Platform or other relevant Adobe certifications are plus
Roles & Responsibilities
- Production support –
- Incident and Problem Management - Operationalize with the established ITSM process using existing processes and ITSM tools (Assyst, JIRA) for governance, reporting, monitoring, Incidents, SLAs, etc.
- Environment Monitoring, Maintenance and Updates - Create necessary alerts and dashboards for monitoring. Ensure scheduled offline data feeds and real-time online data feeds are operating correctly. Create processes to work with business operations team, other IT support teams and ITSM teams. Ensure uptime and SLAs by working with Adobe Ultimate Success team.
- Development and Enhancements
- Make changes to support new requirements, test and deploy to production. Troubleshoot and fix issues in production after journeys are live.
- Leverage existing processes for SDLC (Jira, Jira X-ray, AI based test creation, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Compliance and Audits
- Ensure day-to-day compliance and risk management. Support audit processes by maintaining necessary data.
- Privacy – Support requests from privacy team on GDPR and CCPA.
- Collaboration
- Needed with business operations teams (AJO, CJA) and IT operations teams (Digital product, Data product, Business operations, External partners), ITSM teams (Incident management, problem management) and IT Shared services (release management).
- Incorporate continuous improvement for product value maximization and processes.
- In addition,
- Expected to work independently with limited oversight.
- Weekly, Monthly and Yearly updates needed to leadership team.
- Nice to have: High level knowledge on AJO and CJA to enable seamless communication with business operations teams.
