Job Description:
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform, utilizing various AWS services to create scalable, efficient data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing data storage while collaborating with data scientists and analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications for data architecture

- Design and implement data architectures on AWS, including data lakes, data warehouses, data pipelines, and data ingestion solutions using services like S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis, and Lambda.
- Create logical and physical data models for efficient data storage and retrieval, considering data relationships and normalization techniques.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into AWS data stores, optimizing data flow and performance
- Monitor data pipeline performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure efficient data processing and timely delivery.
- Deep understanding of AWS data services like S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis, DynamoDB, EMR, RDS and Lambda.
- Analyze and optimize data storage and processing costs on AWS by selecting the most appropriate services and configurations
- Knowledge of data governance principles and data security best practices to protect sensitive information.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and potentially other scripting languages to interact with data and develop data processing logic
- Understanding of cloud computing concepts, distributed systems, and best practices for designing scalable and resilient data architectures
