Job Description:
Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Translator to join our team responsible for improving Siri, the Apple Digital Assistant. The ideal candidate will translate and localize languages and data in Malay, Norwegian, Chinese, Danish, or Indonesian, ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy. Your work will contribute directly to enhancing Siri's user experience across diverse global markets.
Required Qualifications:
• Native or near-native proficiency in [Malay/Norwegian/Chinese/Danish/Indonesian] and English.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances, idiomatic expressions, and dialect variations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong eye for detail.
• Familiarity with digital assistants, AI technology, and natural language processing (NLP) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:
• Translate and localize text, audio, and other data from [Malay/Norwegian/Chinese/Danish/Indonesian] into English (and vice versa) with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
• Work closely with engineers, linguists, and product teams to enhance Siri’s language understanding and responses.
• Review, proofread, and edit translations to maintain Apple’s high standards of quality.
• Identify and resolve linguistic and cultural nuances that improve Siri's interaction and user engagement.
• Stay updated on the latest language trends, idioms, and regional differences to refine Siri’s effectiveness.
