- Verifies next day appointments for Medical Assistance clients.
- Verifies providers participation with Medical Assistance.
- Reviewing and creating MATP forms needed for transportation services.
- Responsible for scheduling trips for MATP consumers.
- Operates computer, copy machine, and other office equipment as needed.
- Assists in answering phones within department and directs calls to appropriate individuals.
- Mails notifications and other necessary information to carry out departmental needs.
- Maintains department files in an up-to-date manner, as required.
- Assists staff with a variety of duties as needed.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
- Types notifications and departmental documents as required.
- Sorts and files correspondence and departmental documents.
- Performs receptionist duties by greeting visitors and directing individuals to proper office locations.
Qualifications
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus some clerical and computer training in basic Microsoft Office Programs such as Word and Excel preferred. Required Experience: Experience working in law office, county government, or court system preferred.
