Shifts: Day Shift; 9:00 am - 9:00 pm (can be flexible)
Client: Mature Female with TBI, Facial Fractures, and Dysphagia

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Arabic-speaking private duty nurse to provide care for a 72-year-old female client who has a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and dysphagia. The client only speaks and understands Arabic, and her daughter is the primary guardian and fluent in both Arabic and English. The daughter is highly involved in care.

Responsibilities:
- Peg Tube Feeding – Administer skilled nursing care as required.
- Assistance with Transfers – Two-person max assist using a SARA lift.
- Range of Motion (ROM) Exercises – Perform exercises in bed and throughout the day (instructions provided in the home binder).
- Non-Verbal Communication – Engage effectively with the client, who is responsive to non-verbal cues.
- Monitor & Support Therapy Schedule – The client attends therapy throughout the week. The daughter may choose to send staff home early or not have staff present during therapy sessions.
- Follow Home Care Guidelines – Cameras are present in the home for monitoring during shifts.
- Must be fluent in Arabic (spoken and understood by the client).
- Licensed Nurse (LPN or RN) with experience in skilled nursing care, PEG tube feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Strong understanding of spasticity management and ROM exercises.
- Experience with TBI patients and dysphagia care preferred.
- Must be female (per client's family request).
- Non-smoker (The client’s son smokes but only outside).
- No pets allowed in the home.
- Clean, pet-free condo.
- Highly supportive and involved family.
- Collaborative care approach with Noor (primary guardian) and therapists.

Responsibilities
- Perform duties outlined in patient's plan of care
- TBI SCI rehabilitation
- Adult/ Pediatrics
- Ventilator and Tracheotomy care (Training Provided)
- Gastrostomy tube care (Training Provided)
- Dispensing medications
- Observe client’s physical, mental and emotional conditions.
- Report any changes
- Document observed changes
- Communicates effectively with Clinical team to increase optimal outcomes
- Maintains professional nature within the home setting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to utilize computers/tablets and computer software
- Current state license as an RN or LPN
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current negative TB skin test or negative chest X-ray
- CPR certified
