What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavior Intervention Specialist position at Centria Autism?
We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Behavior Technician at Centria Autism. As a Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors
- Work one-on-one with children, providing patient and compassionate support
Requirements:
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
