About the Job
We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Developmental Disabilities Assistant. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Our ideal candidate is someone who is patient, understanding, and able to connect with children on a deep level. You will need to be comfortable standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and at times carrying children or objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA
- Work one-on-one with children to help them reach their full potential
- Provide support and assistance to children with autism and other developmental disabilities
