Centria Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide in-home care for a 7-month-old patient in River Rouge, MI. The child has a G-tube, trach, and a history of apnea, bradycardia, micrognathia, and chronic lung BPD.
Job Details:
- Location: River Rouge, MI
- Patient: 7-month-old with complex medical needs
- Medical Needs: G-tube, trach care, apnea/bradycardia monitoring, respiratory support
- Home Environment: No pets, very supportive and kind family
- Requirements: Must complete a Meet and Greet (MnG) with the family
Qualifications:
- Active RN or LPN license in Michigan
- Experience with trach and G-tube care (preferred)
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Reliable, compassionate, and skilled in managing complex medical conditions

Responsibilities
- Perform duties outlined in patient's plan of care
- TBI SCI rehabilitation
- Adult/ Pediatrics
- Ventilator and Tracheotomy care (Training Provided)
- Gastrostomy tube care (Training Provided)
- Dispensing medications
- Observe client's physical, mental and emotional conditions.
- Report any changes
- Document observed changes
- Communicates effectively with Clinical team to increase optimal outcomes
- Maintains professional nature within the home setting
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to utilize computers/tablets and computer software
- Current state license as an RN or LPN
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current negative TB skin test or negative chest X-ray
- CPR certified
