In this role, you will:
- Document and script data models to support business use cases.
- Develop infrastructure scripts to build databases, tables, and metadata.
- Perform unit tests to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Integrate with data lineage tools like data world and visualization tools like Power BI.
- Identify and communicate data quality issues in source systems.
- Maintain and manage metadata across data assets.
- Strong experience in Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data transformation and automation.
- Experience with metadata management and data governance best practices.
- Knowledge of data integration tools and best practices for data lineage tracking.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar visualization tools for reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data.world or similar data lineage tools.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion techniques.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
