In this role, you will:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and Airflow for batch and real-time data processing.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to support data analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement data-driven solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Implement best practices for data management, data governance, and security.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering, Snowflake, and Airflow.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using Snowflake and Airflow.
- Strong SQL skills and proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification in Snowflake or Airflow is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
