Centric Pipe is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Director of Supply Chain (or Sr. Manager – Supply Chain) with a strong background in Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. This high-impact position will oversee a team of 2-3 direct reports, manage production scheduling and inventory tracking, and ensure the efficient scheduling and delivery of slit steel coils. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail and perfectionist traits, ensuring flawless execution across all facets of supply chain management.
Position Overview
The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain processes, including inventory control, production scheduling, logistics, and cost analysis. The position encompasses oversight of scheduling for ERW mill production, heat treating, threading, and coupling. In this key leadership role, you will play a vital part in Centric Pipe’s operational success by driving continuous improvement, ensuring on-time delivery, and optimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management :
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet production schedules and customer demands while minimizing costs.
- Coordinate and oversee all production scheduling, including ERW steel pipe / casing & tubing mill production, heat treating, threading & coupling operations / processing.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy in tracking work-in-process (WIP) items.
- Maintain seamless collaboration across departments, including sales, operations, and logistics, to streamline processes and achieve company goals.
