About this Opportunity : To focus on requirements analysis, decomposition and allocation in addition to architecture development employing SySML modeling in order to deliver the highest levels of performance to vehicle and crew platforms.
Responsibilities :
Review customer requirements for compliance and elicit system operational and functional concepts
Allocate, decompose and derive requirements to subsystems and components and trace to ensure successful vehicle integration
Assure appropriate flow-down of design constraints
Perform SySML modeling as assigned to include behavior, structure and parametric modeling.
Coordinate cross-functional reviews with other engineering disciplines
Develop and maintain product and subsystem level specification
Support IPTs in developing critical item specifications.
Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations and policies.
Duties assigned by direct manager and delegates Job Requirements / Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aerospace) along with 3-5 years experience in systems engineering on DoD programs; Master's Degree in Engineering and ground vehicle experience preferred
Must be a SySML Expert with strong knowledge in modeling based software such as Cameo / Magic Draw, Sparx, IBM Rational Rhapsody, Modelio, Papyrus for SySML, or Visual Paradigm
Proven prior project management of SySML system modeling
Experience with configuration control and baseline management and Requirements development
