The Manager of Marketing Communications will lead external market efforts for the team and bring an energetic and driven leadership style to the evolving energy space. This position is responsible for full oversight of outbound marketing activity and the lead-to-sale journey, identifying target audience members and paths to reach them with effective proposition and messaging to increase revenue. The right candidate will be adept at finding new and innovative ways to increase reach, build brand and support the business overall to meet and exceed business targets. This position will drive our business forward with marketing strategies based on data and analytics.
This position will own and optimize the website and marketing funnel and will be responsible for leveraging a variety of marketing strategies, tools and platforms to engage and monitor the full sales funnel to measure success. The Manager of Marketing Communications will ensure customer journeys maintain optimal conversion, improve conversion rates and execute against new go-to-market initiatives. They will also oversee a team of individuals with responsibility for managing outbound messaging including but not limited to, sales tools and enablement and RFP content, speaking engagements, account based marketing efforts, LinkedIn and event strategies.
Open to flexible work schedules working fully remote or hybrid but must to able to travel up to 25% of the time. Looking for someone to be near the following locations:

Our Manager of Marketing Communications contributes to the team by:
- Managing marketing employees and operational budget for marketing activities.
- Developing data-driven multi-channel marketing strategies to drive growth in key strategic markets and executing against those strategies, using agile framework to flex with market trends and as results indicate.
- Conducting market and campaign analysis to determine strategies for success via internal data and market trends.
- Managing a content strategy to position the Company’s brand as premiere in the sustainable energy services market.
- Identifying opportunities and creating plans to engage target prospects and customers throughout their lifecycle.
- Identifying, using market intelligence, pipeline and customer data, opportunities to improve and/or optimize conversion and maximize revenue across all stages of the customer experience in a B2B energy service environment.
- Working with cross functional teams (Engineering, Sales, Service, Operations) to establish propositions and marketing campaigns to support our revenue targets.
- Creating, managing, and testing new customer acquisition campaigns and messages to identify and extract maximum value in markets.
- Supporting sales and customer-facing activity with enablement materials that enhance our brand and win rates.
- Preparing and presenting recommendations, reports, and findings from experimental efforts for various levels of the organization, including executive level.
The core components of success are (i.e. must haves):
- 5 years’ proven success in customer lifecycle management, content & campaign management or marketing team management
- Expertise in leveraging the following to maximize revenue and returns: Web, Content Marketing, Google Analytics, Salesforce, Pardot, Microsoft Dynamics (or similar platforms)
- Solid project management skills: ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward
- Solid growth track record, with samples and results of past campaigns
- Willingness to dig in and execute against ideas (write content, pull and build reports, etc.)
- Proficient with Analytics
- High school diploma or equivalent

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$120,000 bonus benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location and expectations during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, commission, or benefits.
