Who We Are Looking For
We are currently seeking a Sleep Technician (PRN) to join our team at Centricity Research. As a Sleep Technician, you will play an essential role in ensuring that our sleep studies are conducted with the highest level of care and accuracy, contributing to groundbreaking research that will shape the future of medicine.
Key Responsibilities

Abide by GCP, SOPs, company guidelines, and local healthcare privacy regulations.

Maintain professional relationships with study participants, physicians, industry representatives, and trial management vendors.

Perform and evaluate routine and specialized overnight polysomnograms (PSGs), MWTs, and occasionally Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLTs) during the day.

Prepare patients for sleep studies by explaining procedures, attaching sensors and electrodes, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Continuously monitor patients' sleep patterns, vital signs, and responses to interventions during the sleep study, making real-time adjustments as necessary.

Perform research studies per protocol, including full EEGs (10/20 cranial measurement system), ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards, such as those set by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and Sponsor requirements.

Proficiently operate all equipment required to run a validated PSG (polysomnography).

Troubleshoot EEGs, ECGs, plethysmography equipment, and dedicated PSG software(s).

Assess patients during critical/life-threatening medical events and respond appropriately.

Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including study documentation on required Sponsor forms.

Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate protocol visit window requirements.

Complete required training to familiarize yourself with various platforms and protocol requirements.

Clean and disinfect equipment used on patients and ensure patient safety, security, and health.

Monitor for adverse events in patients and respond according to protocol.

Follow HIPAA regulations under federal privacy laws.

Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
-
Minimum: Unregistered Sleep Technician.
-
Preferred: Registered Sleep Technician (RPSGT or RST), experience with the Alice system.
