Contract 1099 CADD Specialist (Remote Preferred, OKC Preferred)

Centrik CADD is seeking experienced contract CADD specialists to support projects in oil & gas, industrial construction & engineering, and manufacturing design, prototyping, and permitting. This is a fully remote opportunity, though candidates in the Oklahoma City area are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 2D and/or 3D drafting and design support based on project requirements.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, SolidWorks, and/or MicroStation (software needs vary by project).
• Work with point cloud data and photogrammetry modeling when applicable.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables are completed within agreed-upon deadlines.
• Collaborate virtually with clients and Centrik CADD on project scope, revisions, and final deliverables.
• Occasionally meet with clients or visit sites, if required (rare, with travel costs covered).

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience in Revit, Inventor, SolidWorks, and MicroStation is a plus.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a bonus.
• Familiarity with point cloud and photogrammetry modeling is a plus.
• Candidates should have their own hardware and software to complete assignments. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow industry standards.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring deadlines are met.
• Prior experience in oil & gas, industrial engineering, or manufacturing design is preferred.

Compensation & Work Structure

• Project-based compensation, determined by scope, complexity, software used, and timeline.
• Lump-sum payment structure with a predetermined pay schedule.
• Project timelines vary, and urgent projects will offer adjusted compensation accordingly.
• Fully remote work is encouraged, with timely communication being essential.

Additional Requirements

• Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and Independent Contractor Agreement.
• Work samples are appreciated and will help assess fit for projects.
