The Big Picture:
This entry-level coordinator position focuses on supporting our Student Services and Curriculum Teams by coordinating student access and assistance with content delivery and reporting platforms such as Canvas, Qwickly, ZOOM, Microsoft 365 products, etc. Other technical duties include initial troubleshooting of student laptops, triaging technical issues, and working with our laptop vendor. The ideal candidate will thrive on organizing, prioritizing, and completing tasks, checking their work for accuracy, and creating quality, professional content.

Your Day-to-Day:
  • Confirm student enrollments prior to cohort starts.
  • Add students to content delivery platforms, including but not limited to Canvas, Pathways, Skillable, Clip Learning, Slack, etc.
  • Enroll students in course instances and update enrollment information, as needed.
  • Work with Curriculum Operations Specialist to coordinate student tech kit orders, laptop repairs, and troubleshooting with vendor, Microtek.
  • Prepare kits for late enrollments to collect from Kansas City campus.
  • Build, maintain, and delete Slack workspaces for each cohort.
  • Complete and archive courses, and remove students upon term expiration.
  • Assign career services assignment dates for all career programs.
  • Add administrative staff to certification-related courses in Canvas.
  • Send students courseware access information.
  • Setup student access to Skillable, CompTIA, etc.
  • Distribute digital badges to students through Pathways.
  • Reschedule or remove students in Slack, Canvas, and other platforms, as needed.
  • Complete monthly forecast of digital courseware expenses for accounting.
  • Communicate with students regarding enrollment, tech kit shipments, LMS access, etc.
  • Attendance reporting.
  • Reporting student demographics to Missouri Department of Higher Ed.
  • Serve on a team of testing proctors to cover a one-hour shift for our testing center.

The Experience You’ll Need to Succeed:
  • 0-2 years of professional experience.
  • Ability to work effectively and communicate proactively with cross functional teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is driven to complete work in a timely manner.
  • High standards for quality, customer service, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Effectively prioritize high volumes of messages via Teams, phone, and email.
