- Site Support & Communication
- Act as the point of contact for site installation and commissioning personnel.
- Provide storage and installation instructions upon equipment shipment.
- Address site technical questions and resolve issues throughout the commissioning process.
- Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of customer personnel.
- Technician Dispatch & Coordination and maintain the dispatch schedule of technicians for site technical support.
- Communicate dispatch details to the site and ensure technicians are aware of site-specific requirements.
- Maintain communication with technicians while on-site.
- Ensure customer sign-off upon commissioning completion and follow up for feedback on technician performance.
- Customer Training Program Management :
- Develop and maintain customer training programs.
- Make necessary adjustments to training content based on specific customer needs.
- Commissioning & Testing Compliance.
- Understand customer commissioning and testing requirements.
- Ensure proper resources are allocated to meet these requirements.
- Modify commissioning forms to accommodate customer-specific needs.
- Internal Reporting & Billing Coordination :
- Provide weekly updates to the New Build team regarding commissioning activities.
- Communicate daily updates as needed to the Director of Project Management and Accounting.
- Alert the Director of PM when billing milestones are reached to facilitate timely invoicing.
- Business Central Job Status Updates, update commissioning COM job statuses in Business Central. Indicate when job activities are completed and ready for closure.
- Warranty Management, maintain warranty sunset dates and posting dates in Business Central.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for warranty claims and conduct internal investigations.
- Communicate findings and action plans to customers.
- Collaborate with Purchasing on supplier-related warranty claims. Customer Inquiry Handling.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to supply necessary parts for warranty resolutions.
- Direct customer requests for spare part quotes or commercial issues to the appropriate department.
- Post-Commissioning Documentation. Work with Project Admin to capture any job-specific changes to O&M documentation after commissioning.
