Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to manage daily operations on K-12 school construction projects. This is a remote position with travel required up to 50%. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and schedules.
· Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor for efficient workflow.
· Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols to maintain a safe job site.
· Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
· Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
· Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and cost overruns.
· Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders.
· Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and school district officials.
Qualifications
· Experience: 5 years as a Construction Superintendent, preferably with K-12 school construction experience.
· Certifications: OSHA 30 preferred.
· Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
· Technology: Experience with Procore construction management software is a plus.
· Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
· Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check for school construction projects.
