Job Title: Early Childhood Education Coach/ Behavior Assistant
Travel is required between Yerington, Fallon, and Winnemucca using a company-provided vehicle.

As an Education Coach, you’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to monitor social-emotional screenings, assess behavior, and create effective intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay up to date with trends in early childhood education, including Practice-Based Coaching, Head Start standards, and effective teaching practices.
- Collaborate with the Education Specialist to analyze teacher assessments and assign tailored professional development paths.
- Guide teachers through self-reflection and action plans to improve teaching methods that are both observable and achievable.
- Model effective teaching practices in classrooms and provide hands-on support to educators.
- Conduct focused classroom observations, either in person or via video, and provide actionable feedback.
- Document coaching progress using our data system and present regular reports to the Education Manager.
- Travel to various centers for coaching sessions and behavior support, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Work alongside the Behavior Specialist to address social-emotional screening concerns and develop behavior intervention plans.
- Communicate regularly with staff, families, and external providers, ensuring a cohesive support system for children and educators.
- Maintain CLASS observer reliability and uphold confidentiality and legal standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field.
- 2 years of experience working with children aged birth to 5, including children from diverse backgrounds and those with disabilities.
- Skilled in adult learning, using data to inform decisions, and
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
- Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting to 50 lbs., and performing activities such as stooping, bending, crawling, and sitting on the floor.
