Greets and provides effective, courteous and professional client assistance. Accurately responds to all assistance inquiries and/or provides alternate guidance as required. Responsible for the effective and efficient patient services function. Responsible for complying with La Fe’s customer relations protocols and policies in the delivery of daily services in clinic setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner, both in person and over the phone. 2. Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries appropriately. 3. Address patient questions and concerns, providing information and solutions as needed. 4. Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling. 5. Coordinate and serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate smooth workflows. 6. Responsible for maintaining accurate and current record keeping functions. 7. Provide effective and efficient patient services functions. 8. Prepare and maintain patient files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. 9. Confirm appointments and send reminders to patients. 10. Assist with billing and collections, ensuring accuracy in transactions. 11. Perform general clerical tasks, to include but not limited to filing, faxing, and photocopying. 12. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records. 13. Bilingual English/Spanish.
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED.
Required Experience
One to three years’ experience in a health care office setting.
