Construction Worker

Construction Worker:

Centro Maintenance, Construction & Services is an established construction company that provides high quality, innovative, and sustainable building solutions for the multi-family and commercial properties in the Centro Management, LLC portfolio. We are currently looking for an experienced construction worker to join our team. You will play a vital role in the construction of various structures, renovations, and upgrades of buildings, while ensuring workmanship is to the highest standards of safety, quality, and craftmanship.

Responsibilities

Construction: Perform a wide range of construction tasks, including but not limited to framing, roofing, concrete work, and general carpentry

Material Handling: Safely handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to the job site

Tool Operation: Operate hand and power tools proficiently to cut, shape, and assemble building materials

Team Collaboration: Work effectively as a team member, following instructions from supervisor and cooperating with construction professionals

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues

Quality Assurance: Maintain high quality standards in workmanship to ensure the successful completion of projects

Site Cleanliness: Keep the construction sit clean and organized, removing debris, and ensuring a safe and efficient workspace

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve construction related issues as they arise, adjusting as necessary.

Time Management: Complete Tasks and meet deadlines as set by the project manager

Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks as required to support the projects success

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in construction
• Knowledge of construction techniques and best practices
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands for the job, including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site

Compensation

Full time hourly position, Monday through Friday
23.00 to 25.00 per hour
