Centro Maintenance, Construction & Services is an established construction company that provides high quality, innovative, and sustainable building solutions for the properties in the Centro Management, LLC portfolio. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Maintenance Field Supervisor to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for Planning, coordinating, and overseeing a variety of skilled maintenance and operations activities. This position will provide for the day-to-day supervision of the maintenance technicians, this includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring work quality, and maintaining efficiency within the maintenance team. Plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee activities concerned with the maintenance and safety of structures, facilities and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor progress and inspect work performed by maintenance staff. Assure timely completion of jobs in accordance with plans and specifications
Interview potential candidates, train staff, and complete performance reviews
Assist with contractor and vendor oversight and oversee repair and installation projects to ensure costs are within budgets and quality expectations are met
Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report these and any unusual situations to supervisor
Inspect and walk properties as needed to ensure that premises and facilities are clean, and that the community is safe and in healthy condition. Report on any findings to the Maintenance Coordinator
Track individual expenses on company credit card and complete monthly expense report and submit to HR
Coordinate education and development of maintenance staff on appropriate Centro policies and procedures, including, but not limited to reporting requirements, safety procedures, and compliance
Serve on the Safety Committee
Develop and document best practices for the company.
Monitor and oversee that stockroom/ shops are safe and organized
Responsible for coordinating and ensuring the availability of necessary materials and resources for job assignments
Serve and complete Maintenance Technician duties as needed to cover shortages of staff due to vacation and or sick time. Responsible for on-call duty, limited to only absolutely necessary situations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in apartment maintenance management.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with AppFolio or similar property management software is a plus.
- Ability to work on-call for emergency maintenance situations.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

- Pay depending on experience
- Fulltime salaried position, Monday – Friday (Some weekends may be required)
