As a full time, paid R&D Intern at Gits Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Engineering team to assist in project and design work.
As a full time, paid R&D Intern at Gits Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the Engineering team to assist in project and design work.
- Support prototype builds and data recording in preparation for validation activities.
- Test and provide feedback (report) on engineering design tools.
- Learn and Assist in 3D modeling and print creation for concepts and test articles.
- Monitor and document testing.
- Design tooling/fixturing for proto builds and/or testing.
- A student of Junior or Senior academic standing, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and be part of a collaborative team
- Upholds organizational values and integrity
- Ability to handle confidential materials with discretion and accuracy.
- Willing to be located onsite at GITs Manufacturing in Urbandale, IA
