Description : Job Summary :
Centrotherm Eco Systems is looking for a dynamic engineer to fill a product design and testing engineering position. The ideal candidate will join our engineering department and report to the Engineering Manager. The candidate will be responsible for designing and testing new products to enhance our product offerings.
Job duties :
- Creation and execution of design verification plans.
- Use KPIs to drive continuous improvement and project success.
- Develop test procedures, set-ups / rigs, documentation, and lab reports.
- Problem solve using engineering analysis, critical thinking, and creativity.
- Become an expert with industry codes and standards.
- Execute design failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Effectively communicate with our customer base, from OEMs to homeowners.
- Listen and understand customer needs.
- Communicate customer requirements to other team members.
- Assist in the development of new products to meet OEM specifications utilizing target cost methodology.
- Incorporate production methods / limitations in design.
- Assist in material sourcing.
- Create part drawings and BOM utilizing Creo.
- Assist the manufacturing team with the production of “first articles.”
- Perform other duties, projects, and assignments as needed.
