Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Centrum Valley Farms. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, and conveying processing systems and industrial machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair equipment, including automation, mechanical, electrical, and conveying systems, following manufacturer recommendations and company SOPs.
- Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical issues, performing essential repairs such as welding, fabricating parts, plumbing, or replacing defective components.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on processing machines and supporting equipment.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and replace or repair drive chains, gears, belts, pulleys, shafts, rollers, electric motors, and gearboxes.
- Maintain tools, keeping them clean and in good working condition, and keep the work area organized and safe.
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions, working with management to resolve safety concerns.
- Familiarize yourself with compliance, food safety, and biosecurity rules, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Possession of additional trade or technical school education in maintenance, mechanical, welding, HVAC, or electrical is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial, commercial, or facility systems maintenance.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holiday hours as required.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 75 lbs.
- Ability to walk, climb, stand, and sit for long periods and work in tight spaces.
