Job Summary:
As a Sanitation Worker, you will provide general operational and downtime sanitation in our processing plants. Must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Will be involved in activities that include handling of chemicals, use of high-pressure water, bending, kneeling and lifting up to 50lbs.
Essential Job Functions:
. Assist Processing in the packaging and stacking of eggs
. Clean Processing machine and area using proper lock out / tag out procedures.
. Responsible for daily and downtime sanitation
. Transport line waste to dump disposal area
. Use approved chemicals to sanitize areas
. Use high pressure and high volume water hoses to clean surfaces
. Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and belts
. Cleaning floors, walls, other areas as needed
. Clean all product pipes
. Pre-flight equipment after reassembly
. General sweeping and cleaning of floors, counter tops and bathrooms
. Sanitize drains
. Monitoring water consumption
. Other cleaning and sanitizing duties as required.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by the employer
- Must observe all safety and security procedures; Report potentially unsafe conditions; Use equipment and materials properly.
- Willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the employer's safety policies and rules; Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
