Position Summary:
The RMDC Specialist III, under direct supervision, provides records management and document control support to the American Centrifuge Program. Assists in the implementation and administration of the Records Management Document Control (RMDC) program, including the control, distribution, maintenance, storage and retrieval of Records and Controlled Documents.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Assist in the loading and control of documents and records in the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) for the site
- Assists in the implementation of administrative controls for the receipt, identification, control, distribution, use, and maintenance of approved controlled documents, records and forms
- Assists in the maintenance of complete and accurate databases
- Assist in maintaining compliance with established NRC/DOE RMDC requirements
- Assist in filing and maintenance of records, assuring proper handling of classified documents; may assist in conducting periodic inventories of classified and unclassified controlled hard copies
- May assist with periodic assessments to ensure the RDMC is properly maintained
- Assists in collection and assembly of routine data from various sources for inclusion into databases and reports; identifies discrepancies and refers to supervision for resolution
- May perform general clerical duties for the RMDC group
- Provides support to projects as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned

- Possesses or can obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” level security clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- One to two (1-2) years administrative office experience or document and records management experience
- Demonstrated PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office software
