What You Will Be Doing:
The Security Analyst is responsible for providing security support to American Centrifuge Operating, LLC (ACO). Assists the Security Manager and Senior Security Professionals with the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of security programs such as, but not limited to, Information Security, Personnel Security, and Physical Protection Operations for controlled unclassified information, classified matter, and special nuclear material. Desired qualifications include experience with one or more of the following Safeguards & Security areas: Cyber Security, Counterintelligence, Operations Security, Physical Security, Intrusion Detection Security Systems and Access Control Systems, Risk Analysis or Information Security.
Key Deliverables:
- Assist with execution of Centrus and ACO policies and procedures.
- May develop change evaluations for site changes to security plans, structures, processes, systems, equipment, components, cyber security plans and the activities of personnel to determine the impacts and if the change will require U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) prior approval.
- Assists with plans, schedules, coordinates, monitors/reports progress to Security Manager and completes assigned security assignments.
- May assist with the installation, programing, and the testing and maintenance of the intrusion detection system.
- Perform self-assessments/audits of Safeguards & Security related process/procedures.
- Assists primary point of contact for personnel to assist with controlled articles (electronic devices, machine tools, etc.) for entry into security areas.
- Assist with evaluation of changes to NRC, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, and other government regulations, for applicability to the American Centrifuge Program; assist with implementations required.
- Tracks security commitment related issues, actions and subtasks utilizing a web-based corrective actions tracking system.
- Provide guidance to company and contract personnel to ensure compliance with established security requirements.
- May perform the conduct of investigations of security related events including interviews, report writing, tracking/trending and reporting to NRC/U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as required.
- Assist with development and execution of Safeguards & Security relevant training for new hires and as well as continuing awareness.
- Assists the Security Manager in planning and performance for comprehensive facility security inspections activities and visits by NRC and DOE Inspectors.
- Assist Security Manager with Counterintelligence Operations.
- May qualify as a Derivative Classifier, ECI. and UCNI Reviewing Official and perform reviews as necessary.
- May serve as the site OPSEC Coordinator. Perform other duties as assigned.
We'd Love to Hear from Candidates With:
- Associate’s degree in criminal justice, Business Administration, Cyber Security, Security Management, or equivalent education and related field and technical experience
- Two or more (2 ) years of Security related experience
- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

In addition, once employe, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a DOE security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
