Job Title: Permanent Respiratory Therapist
Location: Norfolk, VA 23502
Pay Rate: $38-$40/hr
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Guarantee Hours: 35; 3 - 12 hour Night shift with every other weekend rotation
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, treat, and manage patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
- Administer therapies such as oxygen, nebulizer treatments, and ventilator support.
- Conduct diagnostic tests (e.g., spirometry, arterial blood gases) and adjust treatments based on patient response.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and adjust treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Virginia.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
