Urgent Need : Radiologic Technologist (Allied)

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist (Allied) for a travel / contract position in NY. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Location : Rochester, NY 14621

Pay Rate : $67 / hr

Duration : 13 weeks contract

Shift :

  • Full-time weekends : Thursday Sunday
  • 4x10-hour shifts :

Thursday Friday : 8 : 00 AM 6 : 30 PM

  • Saturday Sunday : 7 : 00 AM 5 : 30 PM
  • No call
  • Flex agency up to 3 times within the contract duration

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform X-rays and other imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment and report any issues.
  • Review and interpret images for quality and completeness.
  • Document and maintain patient records accurately.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Certification :

    • ARRT certification (Required)

  • Licensure :

    • NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License (Must be obtained before the start date)

  • Out-of-state candidates must apply and receive NYS licensure before starting
  • Experience :

    • 1-2 years of travel experience required

  • Strong Fluoroscopy and OR skills (high proficiency expected)
  • Recent acute care or surgery center experience with portable C-ARM experience required
  • Experience with Moderate Sedation, OR, ED Trauma, and Fluoroscopy Exams
  • Other Requirements :

    • Local candidates (within 50 miles) are not accepted

  • Eight hours of non-billable orientation
