Sonographer / Ultrasound Technician Women's Health (Trainer) Contract Role
- Location: Saranac Lake, NY 12983
- Weekly Payrate: $2,480 - $2,720
- Schedule: 8hr Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Train and mentor new sonographers and clinical staff on techniques, protocols, and equipment use.
- Ensure image quality, accuracy, and consistency in all scans.
- Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures clearly.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment.
- Manage ultrasound equipment, including routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records and reports.
- Participate in ongoing education to stay current with industry standards and advancements.
Requirements:
- MUST BE FEMALE (for patient comfort and department policy in Women's Health).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in women's health ultrasound (OB/GYN, pelvic).
- Must be highly proficient in breast ultrasounds and biopsies.
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) REQUIRED
- BLS Certification Required
- Proven experience working in a Women's Health imaging setting.
- Strong interpersonal and training skills.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates residing 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay.
